Meredith Salenger
Salenger has been raised and lived in Malibu. When she was a kid, she loved doing shows in front of loved ones and relatives. At the age of eight years old she was taken by her mother to her very first acting class. The first part she played was as the 'orphan with a singing and dancing dance as part of the feature film Annie written by John Huston. Salenger has also appeared in some commercials on television. Salenger was first cast for The Journey of Natty Gann produced by Disney that included John Cusack alongside Ray Wise. The film was awarded the Moscow Film Festival's Gold Medal as the first movie made in America. Additionally, she was awarded "Best Female actor in a dramatic" at the Youth in Film Awards in appreciation of her performance as the charming Natty. In the following four movies by the time she was 18 years old, including A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon and A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, she quit Hollywood for Harvard for further studies.
